Content Delivery
A CloudFront Alternative on Your Own Servers
A self-hosted CloudFront alternative served from your own servers: distributions, cache behaviors and policies, automatic TLS, geo restriction, signed URLs, invalidations and traffic reports, managed through Fleet Manager.
Content Delivery Network (CDN)
Scope & Capabilities
Distributions (origins, failover, cache behaviors, TLS with managed certificates, geo restriction, signed URLs, invalidations, request metrics) served from your own servers.
- Works like CloudFront: distributions, cache behaviors, policies and signed URLs in CloudFront's format
- Distributions with alternate domain names, origins and origin groups with automatic failover
- Ordered cache behaviors by path pattern, with viewer protocol policy, allowed methods and compression
- Reusable cache, origin request and response headers policies, with managed presets
- Cache modes: cache static content, use origin headers, force cache all, or bypass, with client TTL, negative caching and serve-while-stale
- CORS answered at the edge, HSTS and security headers, custom headers
- Free TLS certificates issued and renewed automatically (ACME), or bring your own
- Geographic restrictions by country allowlist or denylist
- Private content with signed URLs and signed cookies in CloudFront's format, so existing signing code works unchanged
- Invalidations by path or prefix across every edge
- Reports: cache statistics, popular objects, usage by protocol, viewers by country
- Edges are your own Linux servers managed through Fleet Manager: no traffic or content passes through Syntoric
- Edge images and agents delivered privately with short-lived, single-host tokens
